Community Awareness Breakfast

The Breakfast is for community members to come together and discuss substance use disorder, prevention, treatment and recovery supports. We listen to law enforcement’s unique ways of responding to offenders suffering with substance use disorder, treatment providers share their services and programs, individuals with lived experience offer hope and strength that recovery is possible. We share how we can support individuals, families, law enforcement, clergy, schools, hospitals and other healthcare providers through our Recovery Assistance Program facilitated by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and holidays.
We urge all community leaders, law enforcement, schools, treatment providers, clergy, community businesses, civic organizations, healthcare providers, recovery support services, adolescents, young adults, parents, grandparents to attend.
Following our January Breakfast, at 12noon, Keaton Douglas, Executive Director of the I Thirst Initiative, will hold a workshop titled “The Spiritual Side of the Opioid Crisis”. Light lunch served.
