Recovery 101

Monday, August 23rd at 7pm (in-person only), our featured Recovery 101 guest speaker is Mary Burns who will be hosting a book reading and discussion about the book she authored, Saving Eric.

Saving Eric is a powerful story told in Mary’s words about her family’s experience with mental illness and substance use disorder. Readings from the book will allow for discussion.

Mary will talk about the latest advocacy work she has been involved in to expand New Jersey’s Bill S-3 with hopes to encourage others to join her in a quest to make effective changes for treatment of substance use disorder.

Come join us for a reading and lively discussion on addiction, its impact on families, and ways to get involved to advocate for recovery and change.
